The city of Oakland, California had bought dozens and dozens of Tuff Sheds in order to construct a community of tiny homes, providing temporary housing for the homeless. .
The guys who came out were very professional and quick. My son hasn't stopped playing on it and keep lowering it to 9ft so he can dunk, lol. Great job guys and if we move we will be taking this goal with us.
Want the best fogless shower mirror that is affordable, doesn’t use wimpy suction cups, and doesn’t fog up while you’re using it? My husband (who shaves his bald head every single day) finally...
The location of the facility matters as well. Self-storage tends to cost more in big cities and less in rural areas. Prices will also depend on whether or not the facility is located near the city center or on the edge of town.
Artwork needs climate and humidity control because it's vulnerable to both heat and moisture. Expansion and contraction can warp it, and moisture may cause mold. High heat and exposure to the sun can cause discoloration. Additionally, temperature and humidity changes can make paint flake and crack and cause the canvas to expand and contract. For long-term storage, keep artwork in a stable and controlled environment.

Cut one end of fourteen 5/8″ x 5″ boards at a 22.5˚ angle. Then line up and mark the other end against your structure. For a clean look, allow 5/8″ to overlap the back of the structure to hide the ends of the back cladding. (I suggest measuring and cutting your angled 5/8″ boards as you go. I have a 1/2″ variance in width along my sides.)
Top Tip: Install a large door to have a good access to the shed. In addition, a large 3×3′ window would let plenty of light inside the shed. Reinforce the frame properly, otherwise the shed won’t be as durable as desired. Make sure you follow us on Facebook to be the first that gets our latest plans and for some other exclusive content. Many homeowners don’t have basements or a sufficient amount of closet space. Sadly, we resort to storing items in the garage, leaving little to no room for our cars. Parking on the driveway may not be a big deal for some, but depending on your location, parking on the driveway or in the garage can be the difference between 50° and 20° weather. It may not matter for some, but for others, that makes a huge difference come December.

Let us know what you're using your California Custom Shed for, so we can help you create a shed to fit your needs. Our customers have used our buildings for more than just your ordinary backyard garden storage shed. Many have customized our storage sheds for potting sheds, tack rooms, hobby & train rooms. Some have used our buildings for motorcycles, golf carts, or riding lawn mowers. (One customer even parked a 1956 Cadillac in one of our sheds!) Others have used our sheds for a paint studio, guard shacks, offices, a dry shelter for a favorite pet, firewood storage, well pump house, or a ticket booth. Whatever your needs may be, visit us at our display lot located between Salinas and Prunedale on HWY. 101 (El Camino Real North) & Ralph Lane, and we will be happy to help you customize a building to fullfill your needs. We have over 30 buildings on display, which will show you the quality of our storage sheds, and give you many ideas you can apply towards your own building.
It's important to store instruments in a controlled environment that does not change drastically or according to the weather.
A successful DIY shed starts with choosing the right shed plans. First, determine how much space you can commit to an outbuilding, and check local codes for setbacks as you decide where to put it. It’s also important to consider what you’d like to store in the shed. Small tools can be hung on walls to save space, but large items like lawnmowers and snow blowers need more square footage.
We will take care of your shed delivery, but you will need to make some preparations by getting proper permits, contacting your homeowner’s association, etc. Find out what you need to know before receiving your shed.
Sheds Unlimited provides a “How to Build a Shed Kit” DVD plus a detailed “Do-it-Yourself Shed Kit Assembly Instructions” document to assist with the assembly of the storage shed kit building.
